 Models
Two Wildvet models are offered: the low-energy Para-medic model for use at close range with captive or injured animals; and the adjustable-energy Pro-medic model for use with animals at distances from 10 to 80 metres. Both models launch the new, patented Wildvet injection arrow for tranquilizing work. Custom configurations can be assembled to meet clients' specific requirements.

Para-medic
The basic Wildvet model. Designed for those needing to manage captive, wild or injured animals at distances from 1 to 20 metres, the Para-medic is safe, low-powered, atraumatic and simple to operate.
Kit includes a purpose-designed field-case, tools and three Wildvet injection arrows. |

Pro-medic
The Wildvet Pro-medic uses a crossbow with an adjustable power-head, which enables the user to manipulate delivery-energy between distances of 10 and 80 metres with minimum impact trauma.
The versatility of the Pro-medic allows options for injecting, tagging, sampling, taking biopsies, dye-marking or radio-tracking. A tethered-projectile retrieval system has been developed for use in situations where manual recovery of arrows would be impractical or dangerous (e.g. at cliff sites, with marine mammals, or sampling vegetation).
The Pro-medic folds down for transport in its own purpose-designed field-case. Kit includes tools and three Wildvet injection arrows. |

Pro-medic Custom
Special configurations are available to meet specific needs. Options include nominated limb-strengths, shortened draw and a choice of sights and retrieval reels. Custom-designed systems can be developed for tasks that require further technical innovation.

Injection Arrow
The patented Wildvet injection arrow is the key to the performance of the Wildvet tranquilizer system. Accurate, energy-absorbing, and utilizing its own momentum to pressurize the drug chamber, the Wildvet injection arrow is reliable, safe, and easy to use. Unlike other systems, no gases, charges or non-renewable energy components are required. Operation of the arrows is not affected by temperature or humidity, making Wildvet equipment ideal for a wide range of field conditions.
Wildvet injection arrows are available for delivery of 1, 2 or 3 ml of drug. Volumes are supplied at the request of the client. Configurations for delivery of more than 3 ml of drug can be supplied on request. |
